i had a great haircut :)) even though there was a language barrier, the stylist/owner kept asking questions about what i'd prefer and did rlly well in communicating (layers vs no, rounded vs straight, curtain bangs vs no) and i got a near-perfect haircut! absolutely would have loved to come back if i lived in cdmx. price was super reasonable for the skills u are paying for! knows how to deal w my dead ends and cold perm!

Alex saved my hair!!! I rarely write Google reviews, but this one deserves a shout out. My hair was a mess before - color faded and heavy hair grew everywhere. After 4 magical hours, Alex and his assistant Erik transformed my entire style just based on 2 photos I showed them. The technique of “Babylight” Alex practices is from Argentina, and it is very old (shown in the video here). I felt like an alien haha on a movie set but decided to go along with it. The results did not disappoint and I love it. Lastly, Alex and Erik were very caring and kind - knowing full well that they could charge more by doing a more costly service, Alex insisted on a cheaper technique which is the style I wanted. I will return in no time!!

Excellent service! Alexis shows a lot of passion and care for providing the best possible treatment. He gave a lot of life back to my hair and gave many tips on how to take care of my hair. He understood my type of hair and gave me appropriate treatments to restore it. Looking forward to going back next time I visit Mexico City. Totally recommend it

I did baby lights with Eric and had a great experience! He was super helpful from the start — we talked on WhatsApp and he really took the time to understand what I wanted and what would work best for my hair. I have very long and thick hair, and he was incredibly patient throughout the whole process. After the first session, I felt like I was missing a bit of blonde in the front, and he immediately offered to bring me back in to adjust it. That made a big difference, and now I’m super happy with the result! If you're looking for nice blonde highlights and someone who really cares about getting it right, I’d definitely recommend coming here.

Alexis is one of the most professional and experienced stylists I've ever been too! I wanted to return to my natural colour and get a cut to freshen up the ends which were starting to get really dry and damaged. He was so communicative even before my appointment, explaining the options we could go with to achieve my natural colour. I appreciate how Alexis took the time to really understand my hair goals and educate me about the treatments we were doing. He nailed my colour perfectly and brought back all the shine and life to my hair. He truly deserves all these glowing 5 star reviews! And if you go to his salon, make sure to pick something up from Abeja Reyna, one of the natural beauty lines he stocks there. He never asked me to say this; I'm just obsessed with their product line!

THE BEST hair of your life! I’ve been following Alexis for years, everywhere he goes he does an amazing job. Hairstylists and colorists here are at the top of their game. Alexis will make your natural hair color richer and deeper always giving the right recommendation for YOUR hair color/type. The space is super clean and taking the necessary precautions for the pandemic. The experience at AL-Cut is simply fabulous.

My hair urgently needed a trim and some LIFE! Did a quick Google search and this salon caught my eye. I booked an appointment on a Friday and was in there by Tuesday. I loved how attentive they were to my hair and the cup of tea was a nice touch. I have an even greater appreciation for these gentlemen due to my lack of Spanish...they were really patient in communicating with me, especially when I had to rely on my Google Translate majority of the time. I did, however, walk out of there with a great haircut + a few more Spanish words to add to my belt! 😊 A couple tips/notes: - Book an appointment - Styling is an additional $150P Would recommend!

Absolutely amazing experience at Al Cut! 💇‍♀️💖 My sister and I both got our hair done here, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. The service was beyond our expectations — the staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely cares about making sure you leave feeling confident and beautiful. Not only did they make our hair look stunning, but they also took the time to explain how to take care of it at home, which is something so many salons forget to do. That extra attention made all the difference for us. You can tell they truly love what they do, and it shows in every detail. 10000/10 — highly, highly recommended! We’ll definitely be coming back. 💕
